Ok guys, All the threads about QLD riding spots are from 2003 etc. As you all know riding spots get closed down and new ones get open etc.I thought it would be best to start a new thread.
So I'm looking for some GOOD enduro riding spots around QLD.(not MX)
Also, any decent camping spots around where you can ride your motorbikes. Possibly with swimming lake, good hill climbs etc. :joker:
Please can we keep this thread On Topic, if you have something off topic send the person a PM or something.
cheers fellas,

well theres a few spots i know of but the best is the pineforest at logan village, but u gotta be carefull sometimes the cops go in there and hassel ya, but they only in 4x4 so easy to ride away, but loads of tracks ey
thats why the motorcycle industrie has gone poo , because kids are out riding in places they shouldnt be .. if cops go there why ride there??
simply meens you should NOT be riding there..

its a huge problem...
actually i saw an article in yesterdays paper..the government are giving out $25000 grants to land owners to set up riding areas to tackle this problem..i think they reported there we like two hundred thousand off road bikes in queensland with no where to ride except black duck and maybe ripleys..

That is nuts! I think something does need to be done, even for people that ride tracks.. we only have a few left in the surrounding brisbane areas, let alone for the trail riders... yet the police wonder why kids ride their bikes illegally.

get rego and hit up the sunshine coast forest, ecspically peachester. place is awsome trails and landscapes.
and anyone that says illegal riding (in forestrys and under powerlines etc) is full of it and probally just seems like the right thing to say. im not saying go do it or riding without rego is ok but really the only damage you are doing is to your wallet with all the fines likley to occur
the single main "killer" of the industry, witch is doing better than ever given the GFC, i belive is chineese peices of shite mini bikes. ban them all and problem solved

That's fine for people old enough for a liscence and rego. What about people like myself with kids that ride....We have to travel 2-3 hours for them to ride "legally". My kids are not into MX, they love the trails. I know we have RTCB but that every 2 months or so.
Just my 2 cents

Hey guys.. we have been trying to fight this problem for a while, alot of riders around here ride the elimbah, glasshouse area.
The areas around here are full of crap where the general public has been dumping their sh*t (not the riders) but they get blamed.
We are in the process of arranging talks with the local gov and forestry around here, we are trying to convince them to allow riders to use the area, in return Playdirty will do it's best to keep it clean.
we still have to speak with local companies to help.... bobcats, tippers, bin companies to support us.
We are trying hard to help but we can only do so with your support. If anyone is interested in helping, let me know.
Be cool

During the week I will ride out on Johnson Rd near Browns Plains as its 5 mins from my house.
On the weekend if im not racing I will hit up Glass House mountains.
I do alot of mx so practice days are good - im new to Brisbane so been trying to source as many ride spots as possible. Stanmore is probaly my most local track.
