Sure it's old news but why not offer an opinion anyway. Firstly, that bike they show there, the bars won't spin anyway. They've got the number plate ziptied to the the frame quite strongly so I doubt those bars are goin anywhere. That top bar clamp setup is ugly as hell... The forks, due to their length, will actually provide considerably less travel than standard which you can see by looking at them. Meaning they'd have to be quite a bit harder setup. And alas the weakness issue. They have made the bottom clamp quite large, but I just don't think the head stem would take that kinda leverage for long. Either the clamp would break at the stem, or the bearings would get stuffed pretty quick I imagine. Perhaps that's because it looks like its got quite a bit more rake on it than standard so the forks are angled more, I don't know.

Plus, think how gay that would be, really. Hit a 75ft ramp jump, 30ft in the air and you spin your bars around. WOW. Haha guess we know why that never got off the ground then hey.

there sooo sh*t really if you wanted to buy them you would need new front forks and tripple clamp they would cost like 3 grand and if it was any good they would cost like 6 grand.
gstyler those bars would spin the front plate is attached to the frame through if you look close its not attached to the clamps, but your right you would just about need a reinforced frome too.

best thing said in this thread :

Hit a 75ft ramp jump, 30ft in the air and you spin your bars around. WOW

hahahahaha

Has anyone realised that there isn't much room to spin being that there is a clutch and throttle cable to go through there?? Sure they can spin... to about 180degrees then the cable will be stretched to it's limit. And I can't see any Gyro system that a bmx would use to combat this problem... And I wouldn't want to see a Gyro system operating my clutch and throttle also haha. So many things wrong with that setup that it simply isn't worth the time of day, but that's not to say that you can't come up with idea's, it's what pushes the world forward, but that one loses out on the "Good" idea's bandwagon

not to sure about them being strong enough or the cables. but there would be other tricks then just spin your bar, other wise know as a barspin. it would be sick to se body varial tricks like the decade or a decade superman

sorry about the quality of the pic but i think you can make out the decade air
