if u want a crf, rmz or kxf wait and get an 05 all the little problems, or big problems in the case of the rmz and kxf, should b fixed. if u want an 04 then id recomend the yzf simply because they hav been making them since 01.

the current kxf and rmz need the colant dropped to do an oil and filter change. that said i think the kxf looks the best. They reckon there stuff all difference between them anyhow. so unless you're a pro and it really matters, get the one you can get the cheapest.

I with yamaha 54 on this one the yzf not because it any better of a bike but because they have had more time to test adn sort out all the lil problems. All of the bikes are much of a muchness though and there is very lil between them it is best to test ride them to see what suit you the best. Even though i said to get the yzf i think the other 3 show alot of potential and i think i the rmz is suppose to running a alloy frame that is very similair to the crf in 05 judging from a testing pic i saw the other day. But just get in have a test ride and ask the dealer a lot of question and sum up what you reakon once you ve done the research read the review in the dirt action and adb where they had the head to head battles
End of the day though it nearly just comes down to what your fav colour is and the price

As much as i hate yamaha (no offence to ne 1, i no a lot of ppl luv them) Id say its the better bike. They have had 4 years of trial an error where as the others r jst starting out. If i was u i'd habe a demo on all 4 bikes an see wat u like the best.

Well concidering ya dont need a licence for offroad bikes, i cant see why they wouldn't let you test ride one, aslong as they had some private property somehwere to let ya have a play.

they should just get one new model and let anyone test ride which ever bike you would like to so then you would know whats the difference but i spose there would be disadvantages to that aye

Well dealerships actually do get "demo" bikes that they get to thrash around and test before their actual main shipment of a model comes in. I cant remember the amount of demo bikes we've gotten to thrash the shit out of, It helps havin 3 Mungomen at the local bike shop ;) if someone doesn't have a bike we just went and borrowed a demo from the shop. Best fun we had was with the new Yamaha Banshee's when they came out a few years ago :p

also the rmz/kxf's hav been having big problems with the engins doin things like cracking crank cases, droping valves etc plus u hav 2 drain the coolant wen u change the oil. also alot of the kxf's were imported straight from canada i think it was instead of getting then throu kawasaki australia or sumthing like that, but if u do get 1 and its come from canada and it does **** up like so many of them hav been doin its not under any sort of warrenty

and about the demo, mate ne 1 can get a demo. The dudes in the shop would b preety lame if they cant figure 80% of ppl buyin a bike r gonna wanna try it out first. I wouldnt buy a bike worth a F**K load of money if i didnt no how it preformed.
