dent in frame

i let my friend ride my bike and he ran into a pole, and wreaked a few things but the main thing im wondering is, that if theres a dent in the frame (it is near the left footpeg by the way) will it make my frame much weaker i will post up a photo when i get it.

should i go get it pulled out it would need to be heated then pulled or something hey

ur best bet is to go to your local shop and ask them they should now of a place that can fix the dent

well if i was you i wouldnt get it heated oe anything cause that make the metal in your frame get weaker so what i would do is like for a good conditioned one or brand one and get some of ya friend to pay a little bit of the money so then ya have no worrrys at all

yeah thats right wesa well that was the case afetr a mate blow up my postie bike :( i was so pissed he was doing 50/60kmph and it just ****ed the hole bike up from there

yeah bro you bend it you mend it i have enforced the rule im just trying to get my bike fixed because not riding is killing me especiallly having fuel on austar digital its getting me devoed seeing all the lucky barstards riding their fully functional dirtbike while mines rooted and cant be ridden till its fixed\

this is the dent my mate did i reckon they may need to cut that peice of frame off and weld a new bit in

Ahhh she is a nice ding, thankfully it's not in a major major part of the frame!! Even still that is holdin a fair bit of pressure there. I'd say the best way for them to fix that part is, like you said, cut that piece out and weld in a new piece. Make sure when it gets done that they make sure the frame is alligned too!!

man i wouldnt think it that bad of a problem cause it doesnt look that bad in the pic but im probably wrong. i spose you could cut it out but i think that it would make the frame weaker by welding it bac in but anyways good luck man

yeah im gonna take it up to yammy tomorrow and see what they can do hopefully it will be fixed so i can get my new taper clamps and bars on and ride this weekend. hey snitz where do you ride you in brizzy hey do you ride at black duck

G'day JayKay, I live in Brisbane, but I don't have anywhere to ride in Brizzie at all, so I drive up to my parents place near maryborough... Nice 500km round trip.

Never ridden at bluck duck but heard good things about it :) When I'm back in action I'll have to go out there to see what it's like. Where do you ride?

i have a small property in the currumbin valley that i just play around on hopefully i will build a ramp soon and get a downie, but there is a big property across the road that ive ridden once and has big potential and also there are a few tracks around but i dont really have anyone to ride with
