Well I figured I'd take some pics of my front tyre today before I replaced it, to show what I've had to deal with the past few weeks of riding. Haha. The grip seems ok, it's this little problem that caused the worry... Been like this for a few weeks now, took ages for a newy to come in. Not really the best thing for jumpin comp ramps lol.

There was another smaller one a bit further around too on the same side. Both holes go right through, the big one could fit like 3 fingers clean through it once we took the tyre off.

Lol I didn't buy that one, that's the same one that was on the bike when I got it so I wouldn't know where it even came from. But yeah it was past the use-by haha, I know it's bad when the old man actually says something needs replacing... He's tight.

when it happened you should have released the pressure and cable tied it damn tight with good cable ties and then re-inflated it and would have been good, but a precaution.

What? Cable tie the tyre? I got no idea what you're on about matey... Plus it didn't just blow out, it was cracked for ages then the crack just slowly opened up.

get big fat cable ties and wrap them around the tyre and rim the pull the crack closed, but now you have a new one, so no use.

Ohhhhh ok, yeah could've been an idea, ah well. Now I just gotta wait it out till the back one craps itself and get one of those too haha. It won't be long now probably, got a few knobs missing and many more only just hanging on...
