This one i did a while ago, not a lot of my shots are taken straight from the game, most of em are edited to create a trick that is not posible during the game.

This one is the latest one I've made, came out pretty good i think. I'd just like to thank one of me best buds in the biz tk_corpse for the killer SMP gear he made me, and also tk_Disturbed for his sweet CR skin. keep up the great work Team tk.

The at the bottom press tab.

Make sure GG (gas gyro) is on

Let go of tab hold S and up

And rock on back flip

hehe, your not the only one man, i slipped into Vet_Spodeboys site and he has just posted an update about "backflips for real?" and i just giggled, cause he had only just seen it done. Backflips on MCM2 have been done for ages, well, for me they have. so i sent him a Double flip i pulled over the 2 double at the X-Games '02 track, in memory of Metz' style. here's the four one one. you can only do them in "Practise Mode" and ya need a decent steep ramp and a hack bike doesn't hurt either. press and hold TAB down and release it, then gas it. MCM2 gives ya about a 3-4 second "invunerability" time slot in which ya cant fall off. So there ya go man, head off and Flip away to ya hearts content.

Righto, i wanted to make a "real" looking flip in MCM2, like it's done in real life. This is what i came up with.

One thing about MCM 2 thats makes it such a good game is the realisticness of the bike phyics. It preforms just like a real bike.

I hope they continue this into # 3. When doin all the FMX tricks like rock solids. that they dont do it like THQ Superfly where you can hold a rock solid for ever.

I think i said somewhere earlier on in this thread somewhere about a petition. There actually was one gettin about on the net, this was about October November last year and last time i saw it, it was up to around the 300 odd mark, so I have no idea how much it had grown since i signed it, and whether or not it has been sent or if anyone had any feed back from them.

Heheh, cool man, I used to race SX, and i wasn't too shabby at it, but it got boring for a while so i turned to FMX. and with this new trick editor gettin released soon, it should be 100% more fun, just like buyin it new again. But ya want someone fast to race, go knock on Team VET's door. :D

Hehe, Yeah, i used to be a ******** Zone racer, only with SX though, loved the technical part of it, flowing through rythem sections and all that jazz. But anywho, i got tired of it decided to just have fun with it, seein how far i could jump and how many trick combo's i could knock out, shit like that. Loved choppin up new bike skins when i got em, hehe, shit like that. Anywho in stickin with the thread name, I'll shove in a screenshot i made not too long ago. Hartattack Indy Air. :)

Yeah i'v been known to have the odd race with slamm :). Hes very fast and skools my ass easily. I have only every beaten him once on week 3 lol.

Although it isn't that often that i take a nice screenshot of a stocko trick, pretty much all mine are editted ones, cause i like the look of something different in the game, thats why I've been goin insane for the last 6 months or so waitin for this trick editor to get released :D

um, yeah Slamm, all my bikes and gear gets custom made by tk_corpse, and he's one of the best skinners in the bizz, in my opinion. I think it's just the angle that shows up a few specs of where the fenders should be, just bad luck sein it i guess :( Nice bike/rider colour combo ya made there anyways.

hehe, Tizz no "program" man, tizz ya "Print Screen" AKA "SysRq" Button, located snuggly up on the top right of your keyboard in the podium line up of "Scroll Lock" and "Pause/Break". Hit ya Print screen button, and it takes a .TGA inprint of ya screen and saves it in ya MCM2 directory, usually located here:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Motocross Madness 2\

In there you should find all ya screenshots. go have fun :D

yes, yes i do Mr Pedigree Sir.........ya see.......... MCM2 saves the screenshots in the same format as it reads Skins, in ".TGA" format, you need an image editing program, such as Photostudio, or Photoshop or the like to read and view them, then crop or do whatever ya want to em and resave em as .JPG files, TA DA.

The Editor works fine man, the "Password" box you are encountering, would be the stock "load" screen for every trick you load that is not your own work. The password system is designed so that when you make a trick and release it to the world, and people download it, they cannot play with or "Edit" it. Simple, just click "install only" when the password box comes up, and it will load the trick into the editor, but not allow you to change it in anyway. Once you have loaded all your tricks you wish to use, simply click the "INSTALL" button in the top row of toolbar buttons, and it will install the tricks into the game. Also, there IS a "Help" file with the editor, i urge you to read that if you have any more trouble.

Hmmmmmmmm, interesting, cant say I've ever heard of that error from anyone using any version of the editor on any operating system. Uuuuuum, If ya want, post up what you click on to get the error and the exact error message, that may help.

Well, bein an access violation in the direct executable file, Sounds like the Editor is clashin with some software on your PC. Sorry but I'm not "in the know" about such things, and unfortunatly, cant be of any more help in the matter :(

I usually just obtain skins from www.motocrossmadness2.com just mix 'n' match. I suggest you download one of the Bike and Rider skin packs, they contain about 100 skins and are great.

Maxy, my skins are all custom made and hence are not available for download anywhere, hehe, but when i did download a lot of skins back in my rookie days, i got them from RFJ Zone, which is now Zone Racing i believe. :)

As is stated a million times around here before, the "backflip" and "360" are both custom tricks now that you can download and use with the trick editor. Otherwise, you can pull a 360 without the trick if ya have a big enough gap and just pull it around and the backflip can also be done without the trick, just use TAB and gas it.

TMR Kicker SE by Metal_Miracle is my latest one I've been havin fun on, but really, it's just a trial an error on the tracks ya get, a lot by TK_Flap are good, Captain_Hook is another one that springs to mind, Spodeboy is good for realistic SX tracks. Usually, as it is in real life also, personal taste on riding area's.

Yeah its basically trial and error. You get to know what are good tracks and what arn't. Usually the track picture gives yu the best idea :)

I was simply referring to "personal favourites", that you ride with friends and the like for hours on end without getting bored, after all it's all about fun right, and the more of that ya can have at one time the better :D
Comp tracks, although we have no choice in them, can also still be fun, however, not your favourite place.
Then again, when ya think about it, Pete and Noel are the main organisers of FMX tourny's around these parts, lol, so i guess we usually get to ride our favourite tracks, comp or no comp, LOL. Trial and Error is just our way of saying that something that looks fun, may not be, and unfortunatly ya cant find out, till ya download it and run it yourself :(.

Mungoman58 bein a budding racer, ofcourse we had to race, so we had a crack around the Des Nations track, and Bein the Freestyler at heart i am, ya gotta know i couldn't help myself over this massive drop off here. However as Andy pointed out, that is one impressive whip Mungoman58's layin down there aswel :D

It's quite emusing how many people actually try and OPEN .DLL files and the like with some sort of Program, they CANNOT be opened, DLL files are just file extensions that programs need to run. you just paste them into the correct directory and the program reads them from there. So just paste it into your mcm2 directory, located here, usually

C:\program files\Microsoft Games\Motocross Madness 2

And if it STILL doesn't work, well then FARKS ME!

Yes yes Slam, i am aware of the custom lang files, and obviously if they can be edited, they can be opened, I was just meanin to say, to the normal joe blow, that gets these files, they double click on em and shit to try and open or run em or something and dont understand that they're just file extensions and how to use them. nice shots ya got there anyways, even for a shitty ol' PC hehe :D

yeah i agree mungo alot of ppl i know got the program to open em and stuffed around without finding out what they were for and then had to get ppl to send new .dll files lol theres a heap of programs out there but i stick to using 2 when messin with zone .dll files and stuff from games

That track is called "Redbull Metel Landz" round 1, by Ike "tk_Zero" available at burnt Clutch, Round 2 is also out and is available from burnt clutch also 'Redbull Metel Landz: Raymond James Demo" I highly recommend both tracks, they're a very sick demo setup :D well done Ike, Cant wait for the special edition ;)
