if you cant pass someone, rev the bike hard going into a corner. over rev your bike everywhere when your following, so they can here that your right up there arse. they will tend to start making mistakes, and will open a door for you to go ahead.

ok, heres some confident boosting..!
you only get 1 shot at life. you only get 1 shot at being 16. why not just go hard. put your life on the line. you chose the sport. theres nothing more certian in life then death. as soon as you are born, you are garenteed to die.
its what we are here for. use the most of this small time frame we have in life. atleast die doing something you love, because you have to die 1 day. go hard, break your leg trying, instead of braking your leg because you dropped it.
dont be scared!
well.. there the words of wisdom i live by. i hope someone who reads this, understands it, and uses life more, and lives life to the fullest. you only got one chance.

ne other tips 4 passing coz if i get a bad start i allways get stuck behind the slow guys and cant get past which pisses me of coz i no im faster than them. i only started racing about a month ago so the whole passing thing is pretty new 4 me.
thanx

yep, ive got more tips. so, your a begineer, and if your right behind someone, obviously there a begineer to MX right? exactly.
say the fastest line on a corner, is the outside, so you cant pass him. try get on the inside and block him. if he can here you coming on the inside, whats he gonna do? shit and let you in. i use to do it all the time.
i was scared of faster riders because they used to block me and coming screaming up the inside. but now thats what im doing to the lap riders, or if i get a bad start.
dont let anyone take your line. but take everybody elses line. just make sure your front wheel is over there back on the inside, and just fly up to them. even if its way slower then following him, he will let you through. it doesnt matter if its the slowwer line, he will get scared. dont wait for an invitation, OPEN the DOOR and walk right in.
i dribbled a little bit there..
hope it helps. i can explain a bit more specific if you want. anything else i can help you with?

learn how to brake properly... you will be amazed when you use the braking posotion properly, how far you can go into a corner past the start of the braking bumps.

heres some good advice, get your mums broom, cut the handle in half, slide it up your sleeve. if u go into a corner n some guy is anoing you, jam it in his spokes. if some guy is too far away from you to jam it in his spokes, throw it at him. or if youve just got that guy who is a little bit infront of you but he wont let you past even though your much faster, hit him with it. hope i helped :D:D
seriously, take it easy on your practice and see what times you are getting compared to the better guys. n then when it comes to your race every gap you get jump in. dont be shy.

I've been racing mx for 10 years, and on sunday had my first senior race day, teh last race was a mermrial trophy race, a 10 lapper, with a handicap start, all day i won the 125/250f class, so in the handicap i was put 23rd out of 25 so i was with the A grade 450f rider and stuff, adn I won the race, i did this not because i could do a normal lap time quicker, just that was passing was so good, i wassed all teh riders back that took off before me, tehn alpped to 10th, and then double lapped some people.
I feel to pass good you just gotta go for it, when i was younger i use to alls get pushed around on teh tarck, but then i learnt to push back, Most riders use all the putside lines, so at practise do all inside lines, i am a prodomiantly inside line rider anyway, then as soon as you get a slight chance or opening just go for it and push them out, if you have to, but the biggest advise is, never use the same line as the rider in front of you, whether the otehr line is slower or not, because if you keep staying behind them, there gonna make mistakes and if they stop right in front of yo uor something you won't capitalise on there mistake

hey mulisha mike i might not be any pro but with whoops i just hit them about 3rd gear 3/4 throttle and just dont back off and keep all the weight on the back end and aboput halfway through i hold it flat. i just read what robbo said and yes it is awesome i live by that when my mates are being pussies and wont do a jump i step up and do it and at the moment i am paying the price for doing it with a screwed back but it will heal and i will be back into it to show my mates they may be fast at mx but they dont have any balls to jump big

yeah. what Redbull said basically. try going in a gear higher then normal. if you need to you can hit the gear shifter and drop a gear, but its a bit harder to change up.
lean back, but try keep the front end from going to high. try jump them, and let your rear tyre land in the nice grove, and keep the front end up, but not to high. just enough to get over top of the whoops and stay skimming along the top.
practise makes perfect.

i went to the track last week and was tryin to be as fast as i could and was passin allot of guys that were in the 250c class (i talked to almost all the guys riding that day) but i always screwed up right at the end of the whoops and it slowed me down allot. and my brother was doin them awsome on his 80 but one of the whoops at the end of them is about 9 inches taller then the previous one and he caught his front tire and went over the bars, screwed himself up pretty good
