superflip bars?

hey all
ok well im new to the forums and had a search about superflip bars and it didnt help me so i was wondering what they were made out of and how and all that stuff
and i can flip into a pit and all that so i want to experiment

ask jayden, hes got a pair on his bike. im pretty sure they are custom made. so just a clap around ur bar, and a screw to keep them in place, then just a rod bent how ude like it. realy all i cud think off.

some guys use old brake clamps...the part that clamps to ur bars n weld a bar to it n then bend it.....with the spin around ones like nates they have a little tiny bit that comes off to the side and sits on the brake so it doesnt keep rotatin round n round ur bars.....

if ur only gonna be doin em into foam pits i wouldnt worry bout the superflip bars....mike mason was doing superflips to dirt with outthem....its just so the bike dont keep goin round....some guys dont even use them to get back to the bike....like mike masons superflips and just use the bars as a precaution if anythin goes wrong...where as if ur doin rulerflips then u need them to give it a good push back up....Ailo Gaup was also doing them WITHOUT the bars...and Frederick Johanson

well there a clamp that is loose enough to pivot and then theres the stop on the brake(a bar going to the brake bolt) which stops it from going round and round

i wouldnt really worry about other people running superflip bars. there completely pointless unless your actually riding a pit attempting the trick not looking at your bike pretending how cool you are cause there on there. not having a dig at you but that the way most people will see kids and most likely yourself with the superflip bars perched up there nice and high.

before people even consider these bars maybe gettin the flip dialled first would be a start?

Waaoooohhooo!!... Dudes you should see the new set of supery flipery bars i just fitted to my bike, they hook straight into you fluax capasitor and work AWSOME!!... My mate from down the road grabed his $20 disposable camera and took some mad shots! And the super flip bars made me look soooo kool...

I'll give ya the guys number who made mine, he also does a sweet deal on new powerbands, you know the good blue ones not the shit yellow ones... 1800-IMATOOL, best superflip bars in town...

the only time i ever had them frigin bars on my bike was wen i took them photo's i havnt even been able to ride my bike cause of injury and bike problems .....

and u yzf250_42 i tlk shit eh? i havnt used my bars , i dont go posing around my local riding area with them on , and if i had 10 grand now to go fill my constructed pit i would!, but i dont have 10 grand .... u pull ure ****ing head in....

OK here we go.......

Because of the way the bike is rotating whilst doing a flip, when you jump off to do a superflip or ruler flip ( Which r ****ing insane !!! ) u are basically moving in the opposite direction to the rotation of the bike.

So when the time comes to get back on your trusty steed you are trying to move your body quicker than what the bike is rotating to try and catch up to it.

So because you are basically weightless in the air you have nothing to push against to pull yourself back down to the bike.

So the superflip bars are used to help with this by pushing on them with the top of your forearm to give you that momentum to get back on the bike!!!

Well thats what i've been told they are for so if anyone has anything to change or add please don't be afraid to say so!!! ( Cos i may be a bit wrong!! )

Yeh wat he said ^^^^^^ lol...except for just superflips such as mike masons one's u dont need them as much as a ruler flip...coz a ruler flip is pretty much under the bike while a superflip ur still with the bike with ur feet just in a different way....hard to explain but thats why mike mason didnt use em.,

Mason wedged his finger under his clutch lever when he did em without the bars, eventually it messed his finger up so bad he couldn't do it anymore and needed to make some. So basically it seems you need the leverage of them either way.

naah they slid around from under neath and stop on my leavers or i can do em up tight and they stay up solid makin sum new one that actualy fold out once i can learn em good
