its like a table top in a way mate , u just judge it from other jumps u have jumped ,
as in 30 feet table top , u will hit pretty much the same as a double ...
just kno ure limits , or even if theres enough room jump of too the side . or under jump it a lil, but pretty much just judge it to other jumps u have done , and go for it .....
hope this helps
cheers

just think that you are better off overshooting a couple of metres more than undershooting a couple of metres. atleast you will have half a chance if you overshoot.

yer that's was i thinking ... i think i'd much rather jump off the side a few times rather than break my ankles and my bike lol

yeah it all depends on the size of teh jump like if the up ramp is small say 3ft... you could overshoot it and not hurt yaself at all..as ppl above said jump to the side of there is room until you are landing the distance then just nail it

yer the lips wont be small at broady so i think i would hurt myself from overshooting. i think i'll hit a tabletop of similar length then just hit the double at the same speed.
thanks guys

If ya hitting that double up the back their (if they still got it) just gas it ya wont over jump to much, but what a C*** of a jump with that dip before it!

broady wouldnt be a good track to hit doubles for the first time or even if you have doubt in your mind. last time i went out there all the jumps were sketchy as with holes in the them.

yer it was like that when i went there, holes in the upramps and big rocks every where, so that kinda put me off jumping there at all.
there was this massive rock or more a part of a concrete slab on the intermediate track...

Mates that ride here regularly (ryan/jamie..both on rmz 450's) cruise over it. Jamie got me to follow him around for a few laps to get some good lines (as riding there weekly he knows the place like the back of his hand),said when it comes to teh double just to be smooth and its a piece of cake....needless to say I shat myself when it came time to do it adn I rolled over it:p

His general advise for it was to come over that last table top (that kinks to the left) on the right, then cut across it landing on the left, this'll set you up straight for the double so you dont have to worry about turning after you go down that dip.

All the best,
-Pete:Z1:

PS:Its just about the same length wie as the table top just after the right hander (after the double)..clear that one 99% of the time, but still havent got the b@lls to hit the double...bloodty frustrating..:(

do some speed checks with other people who hit the jump and clear it..im sure they wont mind..just stay out on the side next to the jump..or ask people what gear how many revs

i saw a klx450 clear that double with ease! i recon on a 250f like mine ude hit it in 4th or 3rd ringing. broady aint much good for a well graded track but nunnawading is a good track with some easy sized doubles and u prety much just cruise threw em.

off burwood hwy u'll see a big bunnings and a half pipe and u turn in that road between bunnings and the half pipe. then the track is at the end to the left next to the tip.

i was at broady last weekend still needs maintenance bad but the double up the back is about half throttle 3rd and the finish i was jumping at about 3 quarter 3rd. there easy once you have done them.

double out the back is easy, i ride a 250f, but then every jump is easy once you have done it. just follow someone thats doing it . . . thats what i did with my mate.

i love the drop off infront of it. you just fly up to it a bit faster that you need, drop off that drop and just float. probably the easiest jump there once you have done it.

and you can over jump it, the landing is huge
