hey guys just wondering how to set a bike up for freeriding and fmx.
any help is good but people with kx's especially please help.

well if your going to be hitting ramps and large gaps youll have to stiffen your suspension (front and rear) so it can take all the hard landings.youll have to have tapered bars so that you can fit your legs through easy for tricks like barhops and youll also have to tie down your barpad with zip ties so you dont kick it off in mid air, if you have trouble with heelclickers you can cut your bars (an inch or so off each side) so taht its easyier.. youll need to cut down your seat so that its easy to get your legs over and stuff. once you have got all the basic tricks down heelclickers, cancan, nacnac, nothings youll have to cut grab holes out of your sideplates so that you can do grab tricks like superman seat grabs double grabs etc. but when you do this it may affect your jetting because of more air induction so you may have to play with tthe jetting to make it perform better. and some riders choose to cut their mudguards so its easier to do indian airs (cutting them helps if you get your legs caught when doing tricks like this. and I think thats about it other than that you just need to progress steadily and not get frustrated when you cant do a trick.
