my frame is an apollo lsx 1.2 i think and i think the forks r rock shox judy just shit 1s. the stickers on the forks got ripped of wen it got stolen a few weeks ago.

nuh sorry, the bike i was eyeing off cost more than what i thought. yeah its the base model. $1,200-$1,500, somewhere between there i reckon you'd pay. the newer version is only $1,800, dunno bout its spec though.

bender now has a new bike. he's got a kona stab primo, which is 9500 - 10 000 dollars alone but now he has 12 inch marzocchi super monsters on it. The bike is just huge n those forks are mega rare, there's like 200 of em in the world or sumthin.

benders suspension is set up like that for a reason...its like that becoz he does 50 foot drops and he needs it put back like that so when he lands the forks wont snap on him....its a very good idea too...

what does your friend want? hardtail or full suspension? what does he wanna use it for? freeride, downhill, dirt jump? what does he want in terms of strength? good forks, disc brakes etc.

IF he is lookin at a hardtail:
disc brakes arent that important and depending on how big yuor friend is the forks wont really seem much different unless he is like 17 or just a big guy. I cant remember much about the P series but i think theyve got Specialized p1,p2,p3 p3 being the best???? i cant remember. the avanti maniac is heaps good from what ive heard, and norco one25 and two50 are heaps good aswell. i know the one25 is about $1,300, but it is without disc brakes so i guess the two50 with better forks etc would be like $1,700. Kona stuff (the bike) is prety good but once again i cant remember how much it is but i think its more like 2grand.

...thats only helpful if he wants a hardtail.....does he want a hardtail??

the kona stuff is good...got great forks, marzocchi bomber drop offs, frame is strong and got good disc brakes.... the norco one25 is basically close to wat the kona stuff is but i think the forks are differant, it also has good brakes and you can look up all these bikes on www.mtbreview.com and they hav comments on these bikes and how good they are... the specialized P.1 is a good bike, but it has no disc brakes and i dont know about the forks... the P.2 and P.3 are very close but the P.3 has hydraulic disc brakes so it would be better braking.... the gt ruckus 1.0 is great...has marzocchi folks and hydraulic brakes and the ruckus 2.0 is a step down from the 1.0 but is still a beast of a bike...if you hav any questions pm me and i will try to help you, but im not a proffesional in hardtails so i cant tell you everything...if you hav any questions about downhill bikes ask twisties as he knows his down hill bikes.... :) :)

this is my moutain bike. troop of doom gostied it off my ramp which we put on my downramp it was literally a flipp and the bike just got popped up heaps high and when it landed it bent the forks and hammerd the rims and snapped the spokes it was pretty sick
