NEVER PUT TAP WATER IN A CR!!!!!!!!!!!!
because the substances in tap water corode the water pump. because hondas use magnesium in there water pump, tap water will corode it and water will leak into your gear box and motor, and **** your bike up. just like what happend to "93yz125's mate".

i had the same exact problem with my bike, go to a radiator joint and get the cap tested, but while your there, get the WHOLE system on your bike pressure tested... they did mine and i had a blown head gasket, so get it checked out.

i got a new head gasket, put it on myself, made sure to give the head an barrel a light rub with some really fine grade wet & dry (to make it as smooth as possible), whacked the new gasket on, and shes now good as gold.

ive never had to top mine up. the only time i did was went i was draining coolant so i could take the top end off, i lost a bit of coolant when i done that.

buy a new radiator cap cause its probably not keeping the pressure up.

my mate had the same problem it turned out his radiator was blocked. so it kept over heating and poring out the overflow so mabe that's your problem

dont run straight coolant unless, you race and race hard, as it cools the bike too much and will run worse than before, run 50:50 of pure water, like bottled water
