hey ppl im looking att a crf 250 and he reckons its a 2005 i just wont to make sure here is the vin (JH2ME10U17M300586) can u help me plz

im pritty sure that is an 05 mate ...
as u can see by the 005 in the digits

i was lloking in the other htreds bout it and sum guy reckong the 10th number on a honda is the year

i think thats only for yamaha and another brand .
but the bike wouldnt be an 07 if it dosnt have twin pipes
so im still going with the 05

If the rims are stock you can tell by looking at them... They will have a manufacture date stamped into them, something like "10 04" will mean it was built in October 2004 and hence be an '05 model. So you could try that if you're still unsure.

are u sure thats the frame number? If so its an 07...
With honda the 10th digit is the year model.

There is after market pipes to convert it back to single....

yeh i remember dude.

plenty of racers covert back to single. Starters its cheaper than gettin twin aftermarkets and singles tend to be stronger (sometimes).

ah k yeah i see wat u meen . and if they had a fair good crash they wouldnt have to replace the twin pipes .lol

i think the 10th number thing is for cr`s
coz i made that thread i think
thought my bike was 00 but ended up being 01 as it had a 1 on the 10th number an it had 2001 in the vin as well so pretty obivious it was lol
an i got it checked out an it was an 01
