wen u wash the bike use this truckwash called ct18, spray it on let it sit for a minute or so, then after u wash it off u can spray wd40 on the bike
that cleans it real good

hey with the ct18 truck wash, if u have a realy expensice bike i wouldnt sugest puting it on ur rims (if their standard) due to it can make them cloudy, and you should leave the truck was on for atleast half an hour, the longer its on the beter it works, and i used to put wd40 on my bike but dirt used to stick to everything, great idea though.

i would reccomend a product called Blitz aluminium cleaner
it is an acid and you spray it on leave for the 10 minutes a either hose and brush it off.
that gets any stains off bare metal gets it bvack to new condition
and yes it is safe buy from hardware stores thanks

yeah is that blitz stuff a pink colour?

at work I have to clean up greasy/ dirty car transmissions and I have to spray this pink stuff on.

Come back 5 mins later and hose it all off and it looks brand spankin new.

Whatever you do dont use the Blitz Aluminium Cleaner. If it goes on your spokes, or any other coated metal, they will lose all there shine and go black, it eats away everything so be VERY CAREFUL. The best way to keep your bike clean is to wash it as soon as you can, and make sure you get everything off, if the dirt doesnt have time to set and eat into anything, it makes it so much easier. I have been racing now for 14 years and everyone always asks me how at the end of a season my bike still looks new. There is no secret to it, just get them clean as soon as possible and make sure it stays that way.

Also CT20 is much better than CT18, helps to keep the shine in your plastics for longer as it is much less abrasive.

I just get one of those bottles of truck wash that clip onto your hose, Then i spray the whole bike down with that, Leave it for about 5-10 minutes and then wash it all off with a pressure cleaner.....too easy... :p
