Turning Pro

Hey guys...:D
My friend is looking to try and turn pro, and i was just wondering if anyone could tell me how she could go round doing it, and all...
alot of people think she's not serious, but she's never been as serious with anything b4. So any ideas would be great.
okay, yes... she is a chick... but that doesn't mean shit to her... and thats one reason why people aren't taking her seriously.:mad: which really pisses her off...

no offence, but it is easier to get sponsered casue your a chic... send in some resumes to potential sponers, and say how you would benifit there company, by been a posotive spokesperson for them

well if your a Girl and your good then sponsers will want you more, Female riders are rare in FMX comps so it wouldn't be that hard if you could throw down some decent tricks.

at the moment the tricks she's pulling now are- Single cans, Shin scrapers, Nac Nac, No hands, no footers, she's almost got the no hander lander figured and she's working on the whip and almost there... lol oh n the Heelclicker's almost there too... :S

Thats a nice bag of tricks, however, i hate to be the one to burst ya bubble and be the bearer of bad news, but that is far from what ya'd concider calling pro or even amateur (I'm refering to competition status). This is not reflected by your sex in any way, if a bloke wanted to turn pro with that line up, he'd be laughed at till the cows came home. Being a female rider, as some people have stated is rare anywhere ya go, and would surely gather a crowd, but that facination would soon wear off, if those were the only tricks you were doing.
However, I'm all for the female riders, and have no worries what so ever with chicks ridin, we all know they're out there and some of em even put the blokes to shame, so I wish ya all the luck with ya FMX Future :D and am sure with that attitude towards the sport and your obvious dedication, we'll be seein ya rise to pro status soon enough :cool:

get a ramp, and practise everyday. make yourself a goal at the start of the week and try to reach it. for example, aim for a heelclicker at the start of the week, and everyday, give it about 5-10 goes.

It aint easy for girls to get sponsorship. I know a certain female sx rider that hasnt been picked up. Unless you got blonde hair and big boobs sponsors dont care how well you ride

Or you could try to get in with your local bike shop, I support my local shop pretty well and this year they returned the favour by sponsering me (for racing though) but they are probably your best chance
