Looks the part, but when it comes to a functional edit, somehow i dont think the rider would like a nice spikey bit of plastic sliding into the side of their hand as they go for a double grab..But anyways, still looks cool :p

Lol that's pretty sweet lookin. I had that idea about the front guard like an hour ago, and now you gone and done it hahaha weird coincidence. Can't say I've seen the flame grab idea before though, intriguing... Think it might work better though if the flame part was painted on or whatever cause of what Brad said and also it'd probably be kinda hard to cut it decent... Might have a go at the front guard sometime soon though, and maybe the grabs if I find a decent way to go about it.

Andy and Mick (Blue Haze and TopGear) Both had flames on the side plates there. Not on the whole thing, just at the front flowing backwards. Pretty sure they just used black contact to carve it out. Had nothin to do with actually cuttin a flame pattern into the plastics, but just whacked it over the top of the sideplate, and cause they both did it with black contact, when ya looked at it on the side, ya couldn't notice the grab hole too much, cause it blended in with the black contact..very nicely done in both guys cases :) "Simple and Sylish, yet functional ;)

use the lasso tool first to select where u want to colour so u dont go outside the lines and make it messy.

wat tool do u use 2 change the colours on ur bikes, well actualy just black because the hue/saturation doesnt get black or white that good

hue saturation is shit.

first select it. go to image>adjustments>desaturate

then

go to image>adjustments>brightness&contrast

put the brightness all the way to the left, and move the contrast to the right until the black looks good enough. (i do it so u can just see the shadows on the side panel)

Righto, well, i havent done a bike in fricken AGES, and today being as boring as it was, pulled me out of semi-retirement from editing, and I decided to have a play around.
Mungoman422's latest purchase of an 04 RMZ 250 was what sparked my interest in editing one of those, as I think I've only ever done one other RMZ before, and well, i got sick of all the flat side on edits I and everyone has done, so i decided to challenge myself a bit and play around with a nice angle shot to mix it up a bit...this is what i ended up with...I kinda ended up staring blankly at it in the end and decided apart from coloured tyres, which i dont like, there wasn't much else to be done, so I shall just leave it be at this...It is a lil blurry due to resize and compression for here. Oh, and um, probably not my "best" work, but it'll do.

Michael, nice work, I like it, but put a bit more time into the rims, I can see bits of red tyre. Your screen might be darker so you can't notice it, but yeah. It'd just help with the tidyness of it. That grabhole's a commendable effort though, good stuff!:)

hue/saturation 4 all colours accept 4 black and white i use brightness and contrast
