water pump prob

hey i need to replace my water pump seals on my cr 125 but there on the way do u think i would be ok if i went 4 a ryde this week end n jus kept an eye on the coolant would n e thing b damaged i only been 4 1 ride since i got it on the 26/2 n im dyng 2 go 4 a ryde
