How to Whip??

gday, i am having trouble whipping my bike. i can jump alright but i dont really have the confidence to turn up the up ramp to get the bike in motion, i have tried and i seem to get it to turn a lil but everytime i try i always find a way to almost crash so im looking for an alternative? i did a search for a previous thread and couldnt find one, sorry if this is an old thread. cheers
