Hey any one out there that has desighed their own graphics, like you mungo, i would like to know how you did it. I have a friend that is real good at that kind of stuff and he wants to do it one my bike for me and i coudl help design it. And what do you think of him just paintin it on cause he want to do that and most of his stuff is awsome, but if he paints it I cant see it before he does so i dont know how it will turn out.

Well anything i have done to my bike has been photoshopped previously to see how it looks, aaaaaah, what an age we live in with such technology :p. Okey dokey, here's how it all went down...
My Good mate Dan designed the flames around the Mungo Industries M symbol i put where i wanted, and then when we got it right, i printed it out, sticky taped a few A4 pieces of printer paper together, enough to cover the area the graphics are going, then sticky taped the paper to my shrounds and tank, while on the bike, then just sat down, refered to the photoshopped pic of how it's meant to look and traced it onto the paper (really roughly), then cut out each piece, and made a "template" type design, and stuck it onto my shrouds and tank with bluetac. Now......repeat that about 5 times, till ya get each piece perfect, like, so it fits smooth around bolt holes and corners and shit, and after it looks exactly how ya want it, make a "final" template, as neat as ya can, take it to a screenprinters, or signwritters or something, I took mine to a car window tinting and screenwritting place in town, and they scan your template into their PC, neatin it up again, and then finally lazer cut it out onto any material ya want, or they have available...All up, my graphics cost $80, printed on mirrored Chrome, but that shit is less than paper thin and super flimsy and will tear if ya even look at it wrong lol, so it took me quite a few hours to apply it. Now, personally, i wouldn't go with the painting, for a few reason, one, as you've allready mentioned, ya cant see it before it's PERMINANTLY on your bike, (unless ya can photoshop it real well). Two, as I've just said, it's PERMINANT, if ya want different grahics one day, or something, you'll have to buy a complete new set of shrouds, and not to mention the tank, which i dont think you'll wanna replace at a hefty $400 or so AUS dollars. hehe, i just realised you have a CR, which i dont think graphics will ever touch your tank, but anywho. Thats about it......for now.

yea the graphics wouldnt touch the tank and about them being perment on the shrouds i might buy new ones soon, which i have another question about, I have heard the the newer style CR shrouds like the 03 or somthin will fit on a 99, I want to know if thats try cause they look so much better

Ok my friend and me are designing them but its hard to find some good pics of the shrouds for my bike(99 CR250), this is the best i have found and its hard to work with. If any body can help with a good pic of shrouds, even on a bike if they are plain black, please pose it up here.

i was just throwin on a buch of stickers and those two tribal things with the maltese cross were designed by my frined. so i doubt that the mulisha would care if i bougt a sticker and put it on
