There were two guys walking out in the bush and they come across this old mine shaft.
They look down the mine shaft and it's completely pitch black darkness down it.
One of the guys goes to the other, "Gees that looks deep", so he picks up an old car tyre from out of the scrub and tosses it down the hole.
The two guys are waiting for a little while and they hear this very faint thump noise.
The two guys say "WHOW! that must be deep!"
So the other guy grabs an old rusted 44 gallon drum. And he tosses that down the hole aswell, Once again they wait a little while and hear a faint thump noise.
They look at each other in amazement and have a good laugh.
So they both pick up this old railway sleeper and throw that down the hole. Just after they throw the sleeper down the hole the hear some noises behind them. They quickley turn around and see this angry goat come charging out of the bushes at them.
They both jump out of the way and the goat goes down the mine shaft along with the railway sleeper, so they wait a little while and hear a thump, then another thump noise.
They have a good laugh about it. Then an old man comes out of the bushes and asks the two guys 'What's going on?"
One of the guys answers and says, "We were just throwing stuff down this mine shaft when suddenly some angry goat came charging at us so we jumped out of the way and it went down the mine shaft."
The old man says "Well it couldn't have been my goat, i had mine tied to a railway sleeper."
