hey i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. 2 of my m8s had motoverts and the bracket thing that held the engine in place broke on both of their bikes. i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? and wat is the biggest jump you have done without it breaking? thanks

i dunno i read on another forum that the hole is 10mm while the bolt is only 9mm so there is a bit of play n then weakens it but motovert have fixed this problem now

yeah the vibrations for the engine moving that little bit would have caused it

Yeah I broke the engine brackets on mine, just welded them back on, after that the entire frame snapped.

I let my friend ride it who weighs about twice my weight, he did a jump and they snapped off just above the hole the bolt goes threw, after that I got them welded back on.

After that I started doing real big jumps and the frame bent the snapped. :Z369:

Now I have a new frame thats braced, this was on my chinese bike, if you look at my avatar thats the bike just after we finished putting the new frame in.

I have a list like that too;

I broke the engine brackets
Snapped the frame
Bent the handle bars
Broke about 6 clutch and break levers
Broke the gearbox
Snapped the clutch cable
and
Cross threaded the fuel cap so I have to use grips or a hammer to get it off! :Z369:

And the engine heats up the gear lever so if the bike falls over or if any thing hits it just bends so I've bent that back a hundred times, soon it will snap.

Pluss about 30 other minor things that have snapped and bent, its like a timebomb, Im just waiting for things that havent broken to break.

:Z369:

Oh and if the fuel tank leaks around the cap then the cap probably isnt on properly, this happens to me alot since its so hard to get it on completely because the thread is wrecked, it gets easy to screw on when fuel leaks out and lubricates it though. :Z440:
