should i wash my silencer when i take it off in petrol it get all the oil out of it and do i take off the end bit????

Spose you could, but a cheaper way is u can use Kerosine to clean it, cos u can use it to clean anything else with it, unlike the petrol you'll have to throw away (or use to make a huge bonfire :p)

I dont see any need for takin the end cap off, ya dont need to get to anything inside. And um, i didn't bother washin mine too intensly before pollishing, cuase lets face it, ya gunna extremely clean it when your pollishing, so i just took it off, gave it a quick goin over with water to get the mud off it, then got stuck in the with autosol. :)
