I jst got my new black rim, 1 ride on it, but there was a lil sticker on it sayin dont wash it with a high hp level of soap or some crap, any1 want to explain what tha hell that means lol ?, i dont wana take the black off already, cheerz ! :confused:

it probably said high PH, meansing acidic stuff.
what it means is dont go washing it with pool acid or anyhting that corodes heaps. as it will eat into your nicely coasted balck anodising and **** it up.

yeah there prety expensive for rims, but they change the look of ur bike soo much ill try get some pics on ere, you could get em annondized thats heaps cheaper n prety much looks the same, its like 70$ for front and back

yea i got black excels on my bike and ive used all types of deturgents and even contact cleaner on em and it hasnt even faded the yellow "Excel" writin on the rim.

Per Rim :(, shits not cheap, thats why it's hard constituting forkin out that sorta dosh for just a colour change if there's nothin wrong with the original.

Annondizing is just like a special paint i think, thats all excel do to their rims, but like heaps more professional cauz i think they heat treat it or something, But i was told it comes off piss easy, like if you scrape it, it will just peel off.
Blak rims look soo sik ay, im still not over going out to the garage and havin a look at me bike lol, looks like a differnt bike, but as mungo said like its alota $Ching Ching$ for a colour change, but i needed the new rim, cauz i cracked the other 1

i got gold D.I.D rims and they are orsome I got them cause I cracked one of my old rims so i brought 2 new rims there heaps better and look stronger not quite as deal as excel but close I just wanted something different
