Floods in Nth Qld

i thought id share these photos of the flooding from my home town mt isa

this pic is the little bridge in the centre of town where the red circle is, is where the bridge is it stands about 3.5 metres high it got fully washed away there is also side barries on it that are about a metre high so all up bout 4.5 metres of water there

this pic is on the opposite side that the 1st one was taken u can see the little poles that normally hold the side barrier rail things up

damn thats some water sarah we havnt been so lucky down this way

yeah it was like 400mls all up on tuesday morn last week the towns water supply at lake moondarra was 20% they couldnt even water thier yards and in an out back town like that it isnt good, then 5am wednesday morn the lake was 96.4% full and lake julius was i think under 15% which is really bad cuz that lake goes 2 the smaller towns and some propertys.

I wish it would flood in southern queensland. I love floods, good swimming sessions., lol
