300 bucks. what do you want to use the bike for? and your budget? i run a 75cc kitaco kit and its nice to have that extra power out of the corners and stuff very cheap to.

yeah that sounds alright 300 you could save a heap of cash by gettin a bore /srroker kit straight from the states youll save a couple a hundred....if your puttin it in a stock set up id only do the piston and barrel 75_88cc. if ya go the hole hog youll prob end up breakin shit

I'm currently looking at building up a mini - taking the time and buying some nice parts and just looking for the honda reliablity.

People will pay up to 800 for a honda motor. Remember it aint chinese so it won't break. Get yourself a takegawa 88 r stage kit for it and you will be the happiest guy on earth. Don't buy cheaper TB kits they are garbage.

Whats sort of work is involved in putting this motor together with the 88cc kit. Do you have to bore anything or can you just put it all together.

What sort of clucth would you guys run with it.

Like i said TB kits aren't as good as Takegawa or kitaco or you wouldn't want a race head? 88 Kits are just top end parts and there is no machining needed. They just bolt together. If you get one from FAB I will fit it for 70bucks. and if you buy it from me then fitting is free. Hope this helps Willson

dont bother getting parts from overseas buy from local aussie guys youll find that it will cost you less because they buy in bulk so they save on shipping. thats what ive found.do the work yourself very straitfoward and you should enjoy working on your own bike. always plenty of info on the net if you get stuck.
