Hey all i went snowboarding for the first time on the weekend and have fallen in love with it just owndering if anyone on here knows the best boards to get and where from? Any info would be great

i havent been snowboarding before but i know a brand that is good, it is Brighton, well i think thats it i cant really remember but i know it starts with B!

yeah pebbles thats probably it, those boards are sick as and the flying tomato uses them!

I wouldnt get a Burton they are usually over priced, Brands like "RIDE" & "NEVER SUMMER" are good, dont buy in snow either youl pay heaps too much or buy in summer and youl save heaps.

yeah definately buy after the snow season and maybe on the internet because you can buy things off the internet and from america for way cheaper than what you can get anything in aus for

i went snowboarding once in new zeland.. im not sure what i liekd the most .. falling on my ass soo many times i coudlent walk properly for the next 2 weeks or the huge amounts of windburn on my facelol once u ge the hang of it its pretty fun i was trying to act pro on the 12 foot half pipe and sorta ate shit a couple times trying awsome grabs.. i was riding a made burton and there hell nice it was smooothe :Z440:

Well i went shopping for a few prices and can get a great deal on a jeenyus has anyone heard bout them?

hey man
glad to hear ur gettin into the boarding! great sport. As a first board i wouldnt buy a burton, like owen_rennie said theyre pretty expensive but u are getting a sick board. meybe Morrow or forum(the destroyer series) and nitro ect. You can get ex rental baords with bindings hell cheap in good nick and the theyre pretty alrite brands too. anyway, hope u find something that u like

hey all i went snowboarding up in hotham about 2 weeks about and yeah i fell on the ice hard and my knee was 3 times..............it has come down now but any way snowboarding is really really really really really fuuuuun

Yeh JEENYUS are sik, 2nd hands are fine, just have a good look for cracks,dings ect

Well i definatly dont want get second hand but any suggestions on boards bindings and boots would be good i think im set on the jeenyus board its called The Broad its tops

I'm lucky i work for a Snowboard company from Melbourne called Heresy Snowboards (www.heresy.com.au) and we have a couple of boards on sale at the moment if your still looking for a good cheap board. All our boards are hand made in the states and are made from the best possible materials.
We also have a full range of clothing as well so go check out the website....

hell yeah went snow boarding there think it was called mt hut or something like that. it's mad i'ld love to do it again but fell on my ass that much i couldn't sit down at lunch and everytime i thought i was falling i prayed to fall on my face. i was getting alright at the end, i've been skiing to but it's peice of piss, snowboarding kicks it's ass and then some...
