yeah there are differences. i think its the rush ones that are ridged, which doubles the surface area of the filter, allowing more air to flow through, but its a single layer so stuff will get through easier. Where as say yur uni filter, being double layer will stop the real fine shit gettin through more so than single layer does, but there is also a little less air flow. more air flow = more power, double layer= more protection. Just gotta choose which u want more really. I use a twin air filter myself, but thats just cause the honda bloke said they were good, and they were there lol

more air flow means you have to re-jet your bike to suit it.

i have uni filters for my cr.... they have a huge sealing surface which is real important for my 02 casue of the leaking problems...

stock filters are crap

just because there is a huge sealing surface, there is only 1cm MAX that is being 100% properly sealed. and that is where the filter bracket holds the filter on the air box.

either way, you have to grease the seal anyway, which works with any filter.

I started running an O2 Rush filter because I was having fouling problems with my 01 CR250... Made some difference but not a lot..

Bloody thing still fouls... Time for a new pipe I think...
