This is for all you bush riders who have been hit by kangaroos/wildlife. post up your storys. Me and my mates have had many bad experiances so i'd be good to hear your storys.

i havnt hit much wildlife except for a couple of birds i think it was a cookatoo, i have neally hit a buffalo and a couple of kangaroos

haha, i hit a galah once, it was in a flock of them, and a mate had a deer jump on his mudguard, a chital doe and fawn ran in between our 3 bikes haha, the deer wasnt hurt though;)

YEah ive hit about 4 rabbits, 1 roo, a dog and a sheep (it was standing in the middle of track i made, came around the corner, hit it side on and ran over the bloody thing and stacked on the other side.) was very funny. Luckely the roo i hit was only a small one that didnt even knock me off my bike but the roo got knocked out. The worst experience ive seen had happened to my brother, he was flying down this road at dusk and there were roos jumping across the road everywhere, i was smart enough to slow down but he kept riding fast. a roo came out from beside him a decked him off his bike, i thought he was screwed but luckely he came out of it with only some ripped clothing and some scratches.

haha yeah mate, i hit a snake last year, it was only a green tree snake but i still panicked, i was in 2nd coming out of a gully and dropped the clutch on it, i swear i heard my mate behind me scream:p

my sisters boyfriend hit a kangeroo going through the bush once, he cut the kangaroo in half, but he came off aswell.
The bike smashed into a tree and so did my sis's boyfriend, the bikes frame got cracks all through it and had bends in it, and my sisters boyfriend got a brocken leg. There was bark inbedded into his moto boot from the tree.
The docters said that if he wasnt wearing moto boots he wouldve snapped his leg clean off!

About a year ago i hit a roo on my 125 launched me into a tree... i broke 2 ribs. Knocked my self out for a bit cracked my jaw and shattered the front chest plate of my fox armor flatspotted my front rim and ripped off my front gaurd and number plate... it was a pretty gnarly crash.. but i got the roo better than it got me it died.

my mate fish and I were riding out the back of his place in the scrub (near virginia, NT) 2 weeks ago and we were going down this sh*t scary steep bit into a dry creek -flat out as you do - and this friggin dingo just stood in the middle of the path, right after i came around the bend on the steep. I hit the skids but ended up sliding down the bank like a total tool, just hopping a bit here and there trying not to go over the bars -Anyways, fish stopped and it went up to his bike , even though we were on loud moto's.

they are color blind but they do see red. its the only color they see. hence why they chase it and red is used so much in bull riding comps by the clows etc.

funniest one tho, i was showing off to my mate and doin a burnout when all of a sudden i realise theres little black buggers flying all around me and landing on me, so i look down and im on a friggen inch ant nest and the buggers are all over me and my bike

oh and i hit a bloody brown snake on my pushy, fangin' down my hill, doin about 60 kays and this thing launched at me and whipped across my chest, left a mass bruise rite across my ribs

and ive hit a crow, flew straight under me front wheel and sent me straight into a big bush lookin thing, only got a few cuts and bruises but the crow wasnt so lucky

Once i was riding and these 2 birds were chasing eachother or something and 1 of em smacked into my spokes or forkes or something i didnt rly c but it was a bit scary coz i didnt no wat it was at first but it bounced right off and flew away. And once i was riding my bmx and i was on the path and there was grass in between the path and the road and i came up beside a load of galah's eating stuff off the ground or something and i swerved at em and they flew away from me but they cant gain height that fast so they flew accross the road windscreen high and i heard like 4 of em smack into the windscreen of cars but i think they were all fine. I was riding a trail in 4th or 5th and about 8 kangaroos hopped out off these big pine plantation thing. One of them jumped over my front fender and left a big scratch on it from its claw things and its tail hit my face. Lucky for my helmet :)
I have never done over 10kph on that trail again.

My mate ran over a Roo, on his CRF450 totaly made a mess of the animal, but it was still alive & in pain on the ground so he thought he would do the right thing & put it out of it's missery.

so he pulled out his 9" blade, held the roo & stabed it... little did he realise his hand on the other side. he cut straight through the Roo & nearly took his finger off :lol:

Worst part about it is if a sheep lies down(because its tired and cant walk) you have to put it on the front of your bike and its a ***** when you cant even lift this massive ewe(girl sheep btw)

I have only so far hit a kangaroo and i sent it onto its ass did a few rolls. I was on my dr so I didnt even budge. Have had many close calls but.. had a wild dog run infront of me in long grass.. Only recently 2 weeks ago I was on my kx on the back wheel in 5 gear going pretty quick and a massive kangaroo ran infront of me.. in the split second I went shit that was close.. then the bloody joey followed it! Missed it by cm's

Ive smacked a few ducks, Stupid things wouldnt move, so i just opened it up and it got basically chewed out by the rear tyre, White riding gear became Red :S

A Roo hit me last weekend out Port Gawler on the MX track. I hit the skids as there was 2 of them. 1 of them jumped straight into my left Boot & did a commando roll. Funny as LOL.:sorry: Skippy
If I was a second or 2 slower he would of landed on my front wheel. Could have been some ***ked up Sh** then.
