ey guys,
Just wondering if someone could give me an idea how to fix this problem...

As you can see in the foto, where the pipe and muffler join, its leaken shit everywhere, as u can see on my frame and spring. After a days riding my leg and swingarm is covered in black!! Ive been told u can use a heat proof glue to seal it up but i still want to be able to pull apart my pipe and muffler. Also can u buy a new proper joining part for that? If not, or if theres a cheeper solution... Can u let me know??

Thanks guys
Adam

You most certainly can get that seal replaced! I've bought at least 2 for my CR since I got it... and I need another one because the muffler cut the seal when I put it back on last time so it's leakin everywhere again! Mine still leaks with a new one unless I ziptie it tight at both ends, which is what I do. I think the seal for a '00 CR250 cost me $10 or so. Should be around there. If they can't get you one at the shop get some rubber sleeving, same thing, and just seal that however you see fit.

Thanks for that man, i might look into that some more, make a few fone calls!! I Have used one of my own rubber seals, in fact, an old bike grip cut to size, that works for the first few rides untill it gets hot and starts to melt rubber everywhere and eventully eather melts away totally, or melts on there, which as a pain in the ass to get off again!

Thanks man
