man make a normal size one you will hit the small ramp 10 times and then decide ya want a biger one.

make a 3 piece full size with the third piece being joined on top so you can take the top off and have it smaller to get the feel of hitting a ramp, then bolt it on when you're ready for full size.

This ramp is good for a beginer I think? Its sits at 140m hi. (shift) Pete did the basic plans and then I put the rest of the specs in.

ok, it's one thing seeing a nice set of plans, and certainly nothing wrong with handing them out, if they're free, however, it's quite another to pass them off as your own....I designed those plans for Pete...... I spend many hours doing a lot of different shit for a lot of people....do I ever ask for anything in return? no, so all i ask is
GIVE CREDIT WHERE IT'S DUE!!!

Curve looks about the same as a comp standard to me, in other words around 900cm constant, but ofcourse thats just by lookin at it, there's no real way to tell unless ya know the person that made it. So there ya go man, you asked, I gave ya my general opinion.

hmmm i still havent figured out wat a constant radius is...and how u measure it... some1 plz tell me... in short, one syllable words plz...

Mungoman45
1st April 2004, 10:27 PM
Constant radius means if it kept going it would form a perfect circle. Aussie comp ramps all have a constant radius.

oh yeh i forgot the length isnt 13 foot its 12 foot the kid posted up a correction on fmtx.

mulishatroop
26th April 2004, 10:04 PM
so how do u work out the length of the radius and what is the word for the radius when it isnt constant....... epliptic or something?

Pmsl, an epileptic radius.....interesting theory LOL, I'd just call it a radius...simple as that. As for the length, I'm lucky enough to be able to design plans using CAD, so i can check the exact length it'll be ;). Not sure how everyone else does it.
