Hey Taz- thats who I was thinking of!!!!
Yep been on the Hedland track a little bit, they have put in 2 sets of small doubles now and the sands a killer but its a cool track!!!!
Yeah silly cyclones just flood the place up here! We went riding on Sunday and I drowned my bike on a flooded road!!!! The water was almost up to my waist on a road you supposed to drive down in a car!! Crazy stuff!!! Did it reach as far as you this time? You coming up for King of the Coast?? There is a big enduro in May called Indee 500 that will be good too if you keen. Im definatey down to carnarvon for the regional challenge but might come down for a burn earlier, will be good to ride with some non quad girls again!!!

I race here in the US. I used to race a lot more than I do now. I help out more at the concession stand so it can pay for my boys to race.

BUT... I am curious
How many women's series are there in Oz?
I know big women's one comes under the nokia comp that is the men's one. Each state would have one too I assume.
So how many are there?
Mary, how does NZ fair?

Theres women series all over oz, Vic has a huge class of women and their own state titles as well as a dedicated womens race almost every weekend. I know personally at least 40+ girls that race in Vic and theres always more showing up at random race days. The Gippy Centre region series there also has a womens class with great prizemoney. I went to QLD last year to race a couple of races and its just as big up there. They had 25+ qld girls on the gate plus a couple of us Viccos up there racing. NSW is huge as well. WA is building numbers up, and Ive raced girls from NT, SA and Tas. Girls are no longer part of the powder puff class, theres a few of them graded B grade against the guys and lots of girls winning c grade races.

I could help, seeings though I race in QLD. Theirs a Girls series thats on every year, throughout the whole year.. It has made up of 5 rounds all around SEQ. From Tivoli near ipswich.. to as far as Roma. MA are making a big effort to have a girls class for nearly every event.
Their is the ThunderX series, which has a girls class.
Almost every clubday has a girls class now.
The QLD titles have now got a girls glass.
And at the beggining of every year in January, their is the QLD Womens Cup. Where at the beggining of this year, their was more than 160 girls that rocked up, with the senior girls having pretty much a fullgrid!!
Just look around, and at a race that you might want to enter, look up the suppregs and check out if theirs a girls class. Because it is getting pretty big.. especially up here in QLD.
Theirs a website you can look up if you havent already been to it.
