Hey guys, kinda new to the 50 scene, as i have just recently picked up an 05 CRF50. Spent a few hours today doing the free mods listed on www.50mods.com/main.asp Got em all done sweet but i think i might need to rejet the carb. Anyone else had to do this with these basic mods? What size jets would you recommend?
Thanks :headbang9

Well i wouldnt stuff around with the jetting on a stock crf motor. When you buy them they run PERFECT,why change that?
When mine was stock,i just left it the way it was.Didnt do any of those free mods.(they dont really help at all)

They have helped hey, it definately goes better, crisper throttle response, but it does feel like it needs more fuel. Any idea of wot size jets to use?

you sure you havn't adjusted to the timing to far forward ? I know thats one mod they list that may stuff your bike if you get it wrong.
Other wise if its carbi related read this http://www.motocross.com/motoprof/moto/mcycle/carb101/carb101.html

Sorry to say dude if your that new to the fifty scene that you get your free mods from a website you need help from a pro. Jetting is some thing that comes from years of experience in riding and working on bikes. Perhaps you need to call or take your bike to a pro like me or some one whos got the experience with these things. Also you need only do a coupl things to a stock CRF to get it going better than all the other stockers out there. dont mess with the timing just fit a rev box to it, a DEP pipe and a pod filter. everything else makes them go backwards.
