Sand Ridding

Any one on here go riding in sand i went for my first ride to day in the asnd with out a paddle and its heaps funn but htere is so much stress on the engine oi was in 5th flat out on a CR250 on the hard packed beach and when ever i backed of and then gave it some more it just had no power so you just click down to 4th then shes good, but i am sure the paddle helps out heaps. I also did a bit of puddle skimming, there was a 40 meter mud puddle and i pinned it and sisi dome skimming. We also found so big Buffalo horns

sick .sand is ok scarey when u hit a patch quick and ya not epecting it ****s ya chain and sprokets up thou. got any pics post em.

Yeh Gday Guys,
I do a fair bit of riding down at anglsea and i must say if u get the chance to go down there GO! mate its grouse........ its quick riding down there n it has a bit of everything n if u get bored of bush u can go to the jump park n there is just endless things u can do............... it's mostly hard packed sand down there but u do hit the odd 6 inch soft packed sand patch. If your into bush ridin with a bit of everything that is he place to go :headbang9

i really want to take my crf out to stockton dunes but im worried the sand will wreck it...the shit gets everywhere...

slayer i ride stockton every time i ride never had a prob with sand just gotta make sure your filter is clean before you go then give it a good cleaning when you get back

paddle tyres are over rated unless the sand is supper soft
