Well, a mate in USA decided to share this with me, and i didn't know whether to post it here or in the jokes and funnies section LOL, cause it is rather on the weird and funny side............a 48 cylinder 4200cc........road bike  LOL. some people have weird and wonderfull emaginations.......and the insanity to actually create their thoughts :p

Some interesting info on this beast:

Each Engine is basically a 8 "s1 /KH250" cylinders bolted on to cut up standard casings, with a 8 cyl built up crank, in turn they are bolted to a housing, gear linked and driven thru a BMW road bike gearbox. It has takin the owner over 3 years to build it.
It has a small 75cc "Donkey" engine under the seat to start it.
The ignition is by 6 x 8cyl E-Type Jaguar distributers,
and not only does it run - but it is rideable - JUST! - the engine and box alone weight just over a ton!

And before i start with the handfull of pics.........have a vid of this beast starting and running. Pitty he doesn't jump on and show us all how it cruises:()

Imagine if ya wanted to put new piston and rings in it. It would take about a year.

Indeed changing the rings etc would be an arduous task, but probably an unnecessary one, that engine is bigger than most car engines. Only reason you need to replace piston & rings on ur dirtbike is coz its 1 cylinder and you notice the power loss, 4.2L engine ur not gonna notice crap... Lol of course he used air cooled engines as well just to add a bit o weight to it hey... He'd probly burn his leg too sittin like that. Cool anyway!
