i just use a snall plastic bad over the filter then tie it on there with a rubber band around where the filter boot meets the carb

washing wise i give it a good og over with degreaser then a go over with CT18 or CT20 truck wash and let it sit for about 10-15 min rinse and your done

I just get out the GMC presure cleaner i got for $50 and try and aviod blasting the carbi and steer clear of the exhaust , When i can be bothered i find a plastic bag and just wrap it around the air filter.

Then get some 5 paper towels and wipe the dirty water droplets off the bike

Yeah i run my bike after cleaning. Just in case i get water where it aint spose to be, Also go over bearings and stuff with CRC to remove water and stop it gathering and rusting my bike up.

Also get my bike on the compresion stroke to close up the valves befor i clean or transport the bike

I don't usually run mine after I wash it, probably should but! I do spray some water despercent on the steel parts and on the motor! I just put a muffler bung in the exast and a plastic bag and a zip tie over the carby and remove the filter. I also give my chain a real good scrubing to get it nice and clean!!

Yea i take off my filter, cover the hole of my carby with duct tape and plug up the pipe plus i take the seat and plasics off as well then spray the Frame motor, chain and wheels with kero than get the presure cleaner out and blow all that off than get my bucket of warm soapy water and give her a sponge than rince it of with a hose than get out the air compresser and blow all the water off every where than get the wd out and do all the bearings, leavers, pegs and gear leaver plus the chain than get out the silo spray out and get her glieaming than i take the carby off and clean it out because u still get a little water in it from where the cable go's in.
Thats for my 50, dont ask me what i do to my 250 because i will be hear all day.LOL!!!!! :Z440:
