Does anyone know how to make the fram on CR's get that shiny polished look?

My friend polished his MX boots with somthing and it made his motor very shiny.

i am having the same problem, it gets heaps of scum from my boots and stuff, and even if i 'buff' it for ages, it is just never right.

Would anyone be able to tell me how to get the frame back to the stock appearance? I polished mine a while ago and I'm kinda over it now so I was hoping I could get it back to the kinda dull way it was... Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

just dont clean the frame properly for a little while, it will scum up again.

Yeah I haven't touched the frame for ages, I don't mean just where your boots touch, I mean the whole spar all the way up to the shroud. Nothing touches there so it won't scum up... I was thinking I could rub it with something but I don't know what. As for polishing, kyle I used Autosol metal polish from like an auto shop, Repco or whatever, then polish it with a soft rag and you get a good shine on it, but now I wanna remove it, which is the point of my posts. So try that if you can get your hands on some.

thanks, i going to take off the raditor shroud and get drill buffer and make super shiny

GEt a buffing wheel with jeweler rough buffing compound and polish it up,. ive done everything possible on my yz, except my rads

i just use mothers crohme polish and it shines mine right up

AUTOSOL is the shit boys!!! makes my cr frame like a mirror!! get onto it

i tip if you use drill DUCK tape it so if you slipp you dont get metal to metal whit scracthes..-

u gotta be careful polishing up ya frames cos if u go to sell the bike and its go a really polished up frame, if the person who comes to look at buying the bike knows what there talkin about, they will mostly be lookin for cracks in ya frame whwere the polish is, cos polish covers up cracks in ya frame if ya have any, so sometimes u mught have trouble selling it cos they might think the frame is cracked cos its been polished.
