what if i ahhh....?

hey yall.
i race DH, so i bought a full face of a mate the other day for $50. i thought it was a bargain even if it was a little small.

so anyway i was wondering if it is a bit small does it realy matter? i took pads out to make it fit better but there is about 1inch of the bottom of my cheek still showing. i tilt it forward so it covers my chin, but that makes more of the back of my head show... its not thhhaaaattt small but i was wondering if it matters?

also it has realy shit ventilation, so i was thinking of inlarging the vents with a Dremel or somehting like that, would that work?

helmets work best when they are a correct fit. this small helmet may do the job, but a helmet that fits you properly will do a better job.
and as for drilling holes in it...i think that'd just be asking for troble, you may weaken it in just the right places, and that'd be the end of that chapter
