you'd probley pay the same amount for that "filly leak shit" as just buying a tube. just buy a tube.

I think its know as tire slime , just call a repco or auto one and discribe the stuff, My mate put some in his tire it seemed to hold up or weeks on end but every ride he was pumping his tyre up it still went down slowly.

I'd sooner buy a tube they only like $8 to $12 one place i come across wanted $18 for the same tube i got for $8 else where, changing a tube would take the same amount of time if not quicker because you dont have to wait for the sutff to set.

Well, if you are really tight, like me. My push bikes used to always get punctures, and went through heaps of green goo. then dad tried putting really fine sand and water in the tube instead. And it worked. The sand blocks holes. But im guessing if something can go through the tyre then the tube it is probably a bit bigger than a bindi. In which case i think you might as well go buy a tube.
So I guess this post is useless and a waste of time, unless someone who ownes a pushie reads this and tries it and it works, in which case, it was all worth while. :blah: :blah: :blah:

theres this stuff you can buy it looks like one of those CO2 canisters, when you screw it on its forces all the air out of your tube thru the puncture and replaces it with a foam but its not spose to be a long term fix its mainly used on trails when they get punctures
but other wise GET A TUBE and if you cant find tyre leavers get the shop to do it, i've never done my tubes or tyres i just get the shop to do it cause if they stuff up they replace it :headbang9

Hmmm yeah thats all good and well if you dont mind waiting , but i allways seem to get a flat or find out ive got a flat tyre when im loading the bike onto a UTE that day normaly a SAT or SUN so fix it's that minute are a must or i'll be spending the weekend in front of the boring TV

I've also found my self changing a tube 30min / 1hr from home with 3 flat head screw drivers after spining a tube in the tyre 5min's after we got to the rding spot
