So anyways. I thought i have found a nice bike to buy. 2000KX125, excellent condition, bearly used etc. Well today me, mum and dad drove to Sydney to check it out and if it was good, buy it.

Upon arrival me and dad started to check the bike over. Turns out it isn't in Excellent Condition after all. It looks like it had be thrashed somthing shocking and the bearly used bit HOLY MOLY that couldn't be further from the truth. Then he proceds to tell us that the clutch is a bit iffy (somthing i asked him about last night on the phone and he said it was fine). Iffy was an understatment lol. There was no clutch, when i went ride the bloody thing i had to get it rolling first.

I am angry at stupid people who talk up their bikes in adds and talk shit on the phone to buyers. If this guys was a truthful fella he would of told me the things that were wrong with it. Hell he didn't even know what mixture for the fuel and oil.

To make matters even worse i am sick as a dog.

Thank for reading. I needed to vent my anger

Damn Pete, that even gets me annoyed, gimme his number man, I got $40 a month worth of calls to waste, i have no worries about using atleast $35 of that on this tool, just to let him know that he needs to grow a brain. I wouldn't be surprised if the engine was rooted aswel, if he didn't even know what the fuel mix was, he probably just jammed some deasil in it and rode it down a hill. How far away from Sydney do ya live again? I would have been hittin the prick up for fuel money for ya to travel there.

the bike could be stolen if the guy doesnt even know the mix ratio

I quote him here when i say this

'Nah mate, dont know the fuel mixture. I just got my mate to mix it'

When i asked him about proof of ownership he hands me this handwriten peice of paper with stains on that says:

'I (somone) hereby declare ownership of this KX125 to Ian somone (the guys bike i went to look at) for $5,200.

I live about 3 and a half hours from sydney. But it took us 4 hours to find his place. Im just angry cus i wanted to get a bike so bad an from the sound of it this bike was bloody awsome and well worth the trip.

Kyle dude. I have been riding for 4 years and have riden my far share of 2 strokes. This was the first 125 i had riden but i had the clutch in fully and clicked into gear and it just jumped straight off lol. It is true with 2y's you have to give it some revs and feel the clutch pullin, but this had like abo****ly no clutch at all lol.

Things like that dont just happen overnight. Even when i clicked through 3rd band then back to 2nd to round the corner with the clutch in i could still feel the engine pulling.

The 2000 KX125s are natorius for the bad clutches, but he lied when i asked him about it.

I loved riden it once it was going though. Honestly i nealy blew my load clicking through the gears.

I would just like to get my moneys worth.

that is rough man. i dont blame you with wanting to blow the bike, even if you had, by the sounds of it, the guy prob would have had no idea. good luck to you on finding a REAL beauty.

on my bike kx i had the retarted clutch on it too but the old owner didnt tell me, he rode it insted of me coz i had never ridden a 125 and i didnt wanna look like a ****, and it went good.
i went down to the track to ride it after i payed for it, fully pulled in the clutch, clicked it into gear then it just grabbed and stalled. i didnt know what was happening i eventuly got her goin around the track, then got it serviced the next ride.
the guy filed the clutch fingers and its pretty good now, well 100 percent on what it used to be.
so it can be little things can be what causes it, but for a 2000 doin that it must of been raced or thrashed, i still have the original clutch basket and i got a 97.
this is my longest post ever i think!!!!
yeh anyway the service i got cost me 750 + the 3200 for the bike so it was 3950 for my kx125 97 where i could of got a 99 or 2000 for that price, so be carefullllllll! check over everything 3 times and ask 100's of questions

Yeah. It allways, allways pays to check everything. Make a check list of all the things. If you dont, you could be shit up the creek with no paddle :)
