How do you tighten up front brakes? Something to do with a little cable?

if you have disc breaks, you shoudlnt really need to adjust it too much, but to adjust it, you can only really move the bolt which is on the lever, so it is longer, resulting in you not having to squeeze the lever as far for the same result.
if you have drum breaks, you can just move the nuts so they are further from the lever,
just trial and error until you get it how you like.

my old bike had drum brakes and you could make the brakes sweet by lengthening the line down near the brakes.
there are usually 2 bolts which you turn to make them further apart (this is on the brake line near the brakes) ending with the brake line longer than before, which makes the brakes better.

well that was on my brakes anyway

bmx brakes are eeeaaasssyy!

this probably isnt your exact type of brake but is should look sumthing like this.

the cable goes through the bit circled in red. there should be an allen key bolt going through here. youve just gotto losen that and pull or push the cable through until you get the desired effect..
