i had my pitty out today on a trail run with a few mates it was a good 45 min ride i had it pinned the whole time but i noticed it wont peak rev it feels like it almost gets there and hits a rpm wall and wont get past it any ideas ? it has a hi rev cdi ,iridium ngk plug and a mikuni 26mm carb uni filter etc running vortex fuel could it be a tuning issue??? jet size?? main needle placment??

check your jetting thats my guess, my SDG only runs a takegawa (sp) CDI and iridium plug (soon to be 24mm carb) some re jetting on the stock 20mm carb and a unifilter and it revs out fine

Sorry mate I can't help you but does a high rev cdi help much on a pitboss? Where did you guys get yours and what are they worth? Are the iridium plugs any good in 50s? Thanks

i got mine from ozmini.com, imports have a single connection to the CDI where a crf/xr have 2 so the guys at oz mini have an adaptor plug that converts the 2 connections into one so they will fit, cost is roughly $133 for the CDI and plug (send C.O.D) but its money well spent my SDG reared up in 3rd and its never done that and i'm 100kg and runs alot crisper with the carby mods i love it its only a bit bigger than a box of matches
