Buyten and Bartram take home first place trophies
SPOKANE, Wash. - Your Inland Empire Toyota dealers brought IFMA Freestyle Motocross presented by XM Satellite Radio back to Spokane this past weekend with some tough competition. Spokane Arena saw an array of technical jumps, including the back flip on Friday night, performed by Andy Jones. Jones over-rotated the highly technical trick, causing him to crash. The entire crowd was on their feet as Jones walked away from the crash with only a few minor scrapes.
Other highlights of the weekend included watching the near perfect runs performed by Matt Buyten on Friday and Kenny Bartram on Saturday. Buyten changed the pace on Saturday night by transferring from one ramp to the next. Buyten walked away with second place on Saturday though after Cowboy Kenny beat him by a mere one-tenth of a point with a near flawless run in the final round.
