camshaft troubles

i got a 04 70cc thumpstar and while installing my new 88cc kit i couldn't put the new camshaft on! the reason because the cam gear had three bolts on it that screwed into the old camshaft. and the new camshaft only had 2 holes for screws. do all the xr/crf50 cam gears come with the bolts holes?

yeah man im pretty sure honda's all have 2 bolts and thumpstar have three. just buy a honda cam gear. or just drill the holes 180 degrees from eachother in ur thumpstar gear.
