Ok i ordered some stuff for my 50 off you web shop , thinking i should give some support rather than calling a shop in QLD i normaly deal with. Been hanging out for my new gear, Waiting Waiting Waiting then i noticed on the email conformation 1 to 2 weeks , and i god dam it... oh well more waiting.

Got over the waiting thing, Then i get a rude email saying i'll be black listed because you guys hadn't recevice payment , it was dated 11th Aug. Upon calling australia post's money order phone line i find out my money order i sent to YOUR!!! - POBOX 1212 was recevied because its been cashed on the 8th AUG which with my maths is 3 days befor the email was sent what gives ???

Im right pissed off, where i work we get money orders all the time we send the gear off and had the money order over at the post office as we send the gear!!!!

I dont work at a motox shop i work at a electrical parts shop and we do heaps of mail order shit mostly over the phone.

ay adam , just wondering if you had any fleshgear recon windbreakers in XL in stock in the black.

if not how long would it take to get one then post it?

i dont think anyone of the mods has seeing it yet. other wise it would have being gone...hehe.

dude just go to your local shop and build a good customer relation with them. you will get at least 15% min of everything

I saw it. I chose not to do anything about it. This is a feedback forum and whilst this does not relate directly to a forum complaint/feedback comment it is still relevent to the site. However, I think if you would like a better reponse something more level headed sent to the FMXaus store would most likely get you better places.

As I said in my email, I am really sorry that email shouldnt have come to you, I stuffed up and pressed the wrong button and didnt notice.. My mistake and I apoligise. I also thank you for supporting the site and ordering through our store... :)

Next time though, the email alone would have got the same response and posting a email and then posting a thread too doesn't really help anyone. Give me some time to reply, you kinda jumped the gun and didnt give me a chance to reply to your email. The funds from the money order cleared into my account and I went to move your order into awaiting backorder and by mistake selected awaiting payment which I thought it was already on...

The thing is though, people dont always read the whole thread and whilst I understand I stuffed up and your frustration at getting that email when Aussie post is saying it has been cashed, posting a thread in a little bit of a huff and turning away even one other customer doesnt really help either of us... I am not having a go, but it is hard enough to sell on the internet as it is.. It seems every second week there is another news story trying to scare Joe Blow into how "bad" the net is...

Sure if I ran away with your $$ or didnt reply to email please post away and give it to me, but it was a simple mistake and as you would have seen as soon as I got home tonight and got your emails, I sorted it and replied straight away. I cant do much more than that. Please don't take that the wrong way, I am in no way having a go, it just seems I am typing things out the LONG LONG way alot tonight and typing every little thing I can think of hahaha but seriously I am just trying to politely say next time just the email would suffice...

Back to the problem, as I said in my email reply, the email you should have got was supposed to say that I have part of your order here and ready but I am still waiting on a back order from my supplier to arrive with the rest of your parts... Again I apolgise, I ordered them the day after you placed your order and it was and is now out of my control when it arrives... All I can do is wait for it to get here and then dispatch to you as soon as it arrives..

I am at the mercy of dealers at times as I don't keep $100,000 in stock for 2 or 3 small sales a week and if they too are out of stock, a small wait is gonna happen... I just don't sell enough stuff to bother having a ton of stock, I do keep some stock of items that we sell alot of, but some things like 50 parts or casual wear I dont sell much of, I order as needed..

If kept a ton of stock it would all be outdated and worth less than what I paid for it by the time I sold it all though the store.. I am just not selling that much and I am sorry for the delay but I try to make it as obvious as possible this MAY occour when a order is placed if the item ordered isn't in stock... That said, I do my best to get orders in as quick as possible and I am slowly building up the amount of stock on hand so this isn't as much of a problem... Please understand my situation...

Again I am sorry for the email stuff up, I am still getting used to using all the store software again... I will put something extra in your order to make up for it... I am also sorry if you thought the email was rude, it wasnt meant for you but I get alot of orders that never get paid for and I end up wasting money on ordering stuff people never intended to pay for in the first place.. I dunno, they must order and hope I don't notice they haven't paid...

Kinda like when someone orders pays with a bodgy CC number.. I don't know at first, order stuff in, try to put the CC details through, get knocked back, the user vanishes and now I am stuck with all these items that aren't sellling... Hence now a system email gets sent if I dont tell the system I got paid....

Again sorry it came to you, it wasnt meant too and sorry if you though it was rude.. I tried to word the default message you got as polite as possible while still trying to say pay up to those who haven't...

Thanks for that Stavross, you might have been trying be be nice and maybe even helpful, but why tell my members NOT to support the site YOU and them use??? Do you want this site to close or be striped back bare so we can stay open??

I am also just wondering how much do you pay for Freerider, Dirtaction, ADB or whatever every month or 2?? And again I am just wondering, how often do you use this site??

Oh and umm how many pics from each event do you see here compared to a mag? How "fresh" is the news here compared??? Where else can you talk to a heap of the best riders in Oz & the world??? Where else can you ask the riders, promoters, sponsors, the fans, ect, ect, whatever you want and be sure most of the time you will get a decent response without getting a ton of abuse in the process? I could go on and on and sure we may not get the best pics and the best articles like the mags but the list of stuff that is on here goes on and on and on and on...

Oh yer, again I am just wondering, just for research, how much do I charge you for access to all that is on this site??????

WHAT?? NO WAY!!!! DID SOMEONE SAY ITS ALL FREE??? GEEZE, IT CANT BE!!!

And you turn around and tell people (on my own site to top it off) NOT to support us...................

Do you think this site just popped into the internet and costs nothing to run and keep up? Do you think the software and server the site runs on is free??

Please go off make a site, try to get it to this size, with the amount of content and bandwidth used, try and keep it clean & fresh and then find somewhere where you can host it all... Oh and do this as pretty much your full time job while still being a single parent trying support your son, pay the bills and pay off a house and car... And remember we only just got our first paying sponsors too in the last few months......

Then to top it off try and travel around to as many events as you can (99.99% at your own expense) and then come back and tell me how much it costs and whether you can afford to do it without the help and support of the users who use it...

I know for a fact this site would have been gone over a year ago if the users of the site didnt help support us... Now we have a few paying sponsors it has just made it all a little easier......


Is it just me? Is it late and I am tired?? Seriously sometimes I just sit back and wonder why I bother with this site anymore at times....

BTW I am in no way baggin out mags.. I love them, I love reading & seeing all the articles, news and pics we dont get to see online and nothing looks better than a mad pic in print but I just needed to make my point lol Sorry FRMX, DIRTACTION & ADB hehe :)

I tell ya know, I've been on this site for a fair while and would be lost without it, I'd be bored sh*tless alot and wouldnt have met some bloody top mates. To be able to have all the up to date details and facilities that Adam has just described is bloody tops.. And its statements like that, which could contribute to putting this site out of service...

yeah sorry if i jumped the gun insane but i was angry and needed to vent felt like i was done over. I very rearly check my emails as i get them handed to me at work (sometimes) i dont get all emails addressed to me but i live on the site and saw the feedback section ..

Anyways thank for the prompt reply and im cool with it , not to stressed about waiting for stuff i know you'd never have in stock when i order the things.

Im pretty sure I still have a couple left, I will check after for you.. Even if not, as long as they havent sold out it shouldnt be too long to order anything in.. Fleshgear are normally pretty quick..

i have enquired numerous times about purchasing products threw your store, but the lines i wanted were not available. i could have easily just phoned my dealer and have it to me a lot faster and cheaper...

Ok well, judging by that well thought out response, its pretty obvious you didnt even bother to read all of my post...... Even with what you just said, it still doesn't explain and makes no sense to me as to why you would go and post a reply that tells another member not to support the site....
