This is Mark Phillips's bike off the mtx forums, looks pretty sweet, it's a 250 but it's still a cut up 03 KX.

whats a new air box worth?
i want to do it to mine. it looks sooooo good

why bother gettin a new airbox? even if they did have em, i cant see em bein too cheap at all/ I also doubt they'd make em in too many colours other than white, for that year model. If ya want it a different colour, coat it in contact or carbon fibre bike contact :cool: Cheap and effective

Speaking of airboxes, just how much of an effect does cuttin open your airbox have in terms of your filter. I spose its the obvious of having to clean your filter out a lot more often, but whats it like in say dunes with a cut airbox? do you get more sand getting through than is healthy, or provided uve got it all oiled up and properly sealed is it fine for like a days riding?
