It's called an "Avatar" and ya can either upload a custom one of your own, no bigger then 120 x 120 pixels or 20kb, whichever is smaller, OR ya can select from a whole heap of stocko ones in your profile. "User CP" in the top tool bar :D

If ya want to use ur own ya can resize em with Photoshop or somethin like that, just go to "image" up the top then go to "image size" then make it like 100 pixels x 100 pixels or something then save it. If it's over 20kb ya can decrease the quality of it or just make it smaller.
