its not too hard, ive just changed mine from manual to auto.. need different clutch, gear shaft and selector plus clutch activating arm that goes on end gear shaft and activates clutch when push gear lever up or down. i just used bits out of my old auto engine and they fitted no probs. pretty sure are kits available.. i changed mine so can race 110mod class at mr mini motox

I am thinking about doing this to my new motor if I don't get an auto clutch!!! Would I be able to use my old auto clutch parts from my old motor?? Is it a hard job to do?? Thanks, Nick

You can easily change over to auto clutch from manual on a 110 as long as the clutch activating arm os onto the front of the clutch housing. the kits are available from your local thumostar dealer or you can order them from me. They are about 200 bucks and you get everything but instructions.

I just got my new motor, its a manual!! even though I ordered an auto!! The clucth arm on the motor is on the top of the right hand casing, so can I convert it to an auto using my 04 pitboss 107 clutch???

For what I do on 50s, an auto is way better!! but I will leave my motor a manual, bit better for racing, not that I do much!!
