We Need Sponsors/Advertisers!!!!!!!!!!

Due to the high costs of running a exclusive server for the site, we need sponsors/advertisers and we need them now!!! This is really the sites last chance and if sponsors/advertisers aren't found in the next few months the site will be forced to close.... I know I have said this before, but now with the new server costs, I just can't justify the cost. Especially being a single dad...
So please help us stay alive, if you or someone you know is in a position to maybe help us out, PLEASE click the link below...
FmxAustralia.Com Advertising Information (http://www.fmxaustralia.com/modules.php?name=Advertising)
Thanks

dude just an idea, but if you set up a donation link, on the site and when we go onto the donation page have like your postal address or something and i know ill send you $5-$10 or even more to help keep the site alive
Just think if 5 people send $10 in a month thats $50 i know it porbaly wouldnt cover the costs but its a start isnt it.

yeah sounds like a good idea coz i reckon you would get way more then 5 people...Also then you could have like who ever sends money goes into a draw or something to win something or maybe a $15 voucher for the online store every month or something???? if adam's interested just post a poll to see how many people would do it...........................ADAM WHAT YOU THINK???

Thanks for the ideas however I don't think things like this will cut it to keep the site up... Donations or auctions or whatever wont be constant enough to pay the bills every month. We need sponsors/advertisers who are willing to signup for like 6months or something... And at $450 for 6 months its a bargain when consider what I am offering for it.. Sites like fullnoise or something charge $150 a month and Im half that price, have more returning traffic due to the forums bringing users back again, run thier stickers all over my bikes, have the friends and sponsors box, sponsor/link page and lots lots more.. I reckon the users here would support sponsors more than other sites too so I reckon its a bargain, we just need some companies to notice us...

Adam,
Whilst a little donation link wouldn't provide enough money to keep the actual site running like you said it would still be some source of money. It's better than nothing at all.
I'm sure many of here would happily donate some money. Get a few hundred people donating 10-20 bucks and you're well on your way.
My 2 cents

Adam's probably right, it wouldn't help pay the bills, and I guess a small payment might be the ticket for Exclusive service to the website.
A good way, like what Metallica do on their website (www.metallica.com) is they have what's called a "Fan Can" which is a enlarged novelty can filled with Metallica merchandise, free T-Shirt, stickers, rare CD's with old songs on from shows, things like that. It is apart of the MetClub which is a club they pay something like $15 each to join for a year...
Now of course an FMX website is a bit different to the greatest Metal band in the world (no arguments... I'm looking at you Mike :p).
Just as a basic idea (for now, so you can ponder it) but to have a section like the "Registered Users Only" forum, but a more exclusive forum, with magazine quality images, full on high quality edited video, and I guess something involving high profile people in the industry (Pro's, Promoters, Celebs)- a few questions they want to ask each, something like that?
Possibly have a special FMXAustralia Own video that goes out to all members who join the "FMX Club" with the Shirt and what have you... Ahh the opportunities are endless... I've got a pretty decent idea of putting it altogether, but see if you're interested first

WORD!!
(yeah Mikey... Metallica are gods! :D )
It costs me US$60 a year for my MetClub membership and I think its well worth the money coz I get a shirt, CD, signed photo, 4x 'So What' magz a year and a few other perks...
I think if you got a membership package thingo happening it would help you get in some cash...

Adam is correct , whilst donations are ok short term they ultimately wont pay the bills. I mentioned this site in a mailout I did to my members , but it looks like nothing came out of it.
The advertising is very good value for money so go down and hassle your local bike shop to help out :)

metalica....bah dont make me laugh.steve and ev you need to be sent to chris' school of entense metalhead training. he did wonders to me, an ex slipknot fan *shudders* pete helped with that too...he helped shatter my spirit towards slipknot hahah.
im not saying that metalica are bad players, im just saying......well quite simply theyre shit haha. sellouts!. if they stayed true to everything before the black album they would be as good as steve thinks they are, and thats pretty bloody good! i can perscribe you some children of bodom or opeth
onto the site thingy....
yeah im confadent that we will figure somthing out, we alwayse do.
maybe set up stands at fmx events/ (stole someone elses idea i believe....possibly kjs)
in the meantime
rock on and stay metal

So Adam have you found any sponsors for the site yet? Itd be a dam shame if you had to close it! I might know a guy that might sponsor you but im not sure because he has only just opened his business and might not have the cash. Ill keep an eye out for sponsors looking for advertisement.
