New Ride!!

I have now got myself a '02 CR125!
Picked it up on Thursday night, and took it for my first real ride today. Went alrite till my Uncle had a blitz on it and then it went KAPUT! :mad: But after some work in the garage before, its good as new.

cool.. what mods you got on it?... i have an 02, mainly looks stock with a few mods to the motor... selling it when the 06's arrive

No fricken idea sorry mate =P all i know is that it has a fully rebuilt engine.

Edit: I spent ages with my dad trying to figure out whats happened to it. Checked everything, and were gonna get the jets rejetted or whatever and see if that helps..

Stupid ****heads told us it just got a fully rebuilt engine, DOUBT IT now!

Payed $4250(NZL) for it.. Well I had been riding it all saturday morning and then after lunch we changed riding paddocks, then my uncle came over and had a blitz on it. He got to the furtherest corner of the paddock and it just slowed down heaps and then died.
I got real angry :P

could be top end cold seizure if the kickstarter still moves.

either that or something electical or fuel.

did it make any wierd noises ? when mine blew up it sounded like the muffler fell off then it just died. of if they did really rebuild it u might not of run it in for long enough, could be anything.

Ehh could be anything I think.. Nope, well sorta I guess, I wasnt on the bike at the time, but it sounded like it slowly started slowing down and then died and yea.
How long ago did yours blow up?

Its a handy thing having a motorbike mechanic who lives across the road from my dad :D my bikes gettin taken to him tomoro night and he'l get to the bottom of this kefuffle im sure..

well first time when i had my kx125. i never got told i had to run the piston and rings in so i was just riding normally, bike was running shit and then just kept getting worse, was like the choke was left on. then it just bogged down and never started. took it to the shop and they said i cold seized it. the kick starter will still move but.

2nd time, i just bought my yz250. was riding it for about an hour then it just went real loud like the muffler came off and then it backfired and wouldnt start. it was the bottom end that time.

Guitted about the bad luck with your bikes breaking :(
My bike went to the mechanic guy the other night, and dads gonna ring me when he hears whats happened etc.. But I wanted to go on a trail ride on the weekend and it looks like I wont be now :(

haha, well its true! Going to my dads all of next week, which is close as to my mates house (Kia, she rides too) and were gonna be riding heaps =P then on the weekend ill probley go out to my grandparents and maybe to the track..

Yes i did indeed! FOud out tonight, apparently I cold seized it! Numerous other things were wrong with it as well, but that was the main one. I had a look at the piston just before (dad kept it for me) and yea. Cost 3hundy and someting all up.. Im happy its running again =)

yeh mine cost me $250 (without labour, dads friend done it) which was cheap. shop wanted $700.

I rode all today (friday) and all of yesterday (thursday) and my bike is going SWEEEEEEEEEEET! :D! On wednesday it was a bit screwey but it was only the plug, a b9 so ive changed to a b8 and its going great :)

lol u are doing the exact same thing i done. mine was running shitty after i cold seized it, put a b8 in it and never fouled a plug again :)

when you get used to it and start to get the fell of it you will ride harder and ya wont foul plugs

I would hope, that.. that was last plug I foul in a LONG time! Im starting to ride harder now, im over the new bike syndrome stage (when ya dont wanna go hard coz its new to you and stuffs) even my friend said im riding pretty hard.. even doing small jumps :D go meee!
